|
We have had an exciting couple of weeks in
Reception! First of all, we had our very own Zumba session in the
hall. We danced like penguins and caught some fish! |

We had a visit from the fire service. They talked
to us about how to be safe and taught us that if we see some
matches, we must tell a grown up straight away. Then we all got to
sit in the fire engine and then had a turn of spraying the hose.

Alan the Bear has joined our class too, and he
goes on lots of adventures. I wonder where he will go next week? |

We really enjoyed our celebrations for Chinese
New Year. We learnt a dragon dance, made a Chinese dragon and
learnt how to prepare Chinese food. We even used chopsticks to
eat it!! |

We have been thinking about what
we would like to be when we grow up. We had visits from lots
of exciting people - firefighters, paramedics, vets and pets people
and the police. We really got a feel for doing these jobs. |

Little Men in a Flying Saucer and were visited by an alien. We
tried to find where he had hidden
and investigated space. |

sausages and made a hot dog stand. We played camping indoors and out
and cooked sausages for snack on a real camping cooker. |

We picked apples from the trees behind
our classroom. Then we made lots of delicious apple recipes
like apple flapjack and chocolate apples. We played sorting
