National Tree Week

National Tree Week coincided with 'Orchard Cardiff'.  We carried out may tree-based activities during the week which culminated in a tree planting event in our grounds.

We planted a circle of fruit trees on the field to provide us with apples and pears and also to offer shade on hot summer days.
Each class decorated a tree in the playground with stars, bird feeders and other craft items.
We look forward to watching our trees grow and harvesting the fruit!
